Welcome to Alice’s Craft Bothy!<\/p>

Alice’s Craft Bothy is run from a bedroom studio, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.\u00a0 I make jewellery, anything from simple seed bead hoop earrings, to wire wrapped pendants and bracelets.\u00a0 Everything I make is handmade and thus one of kind.\u00a0 Each quirky and colourful piece that is hand crafted by myself, represents a piece of the quirky and colourful Neurodivergent Community.\u00a0 I, myself, am Autistic, have Tourette’s and ADHD.<\/p>

Me being neurospicy meant I had to establish my own job as I have never been able to cope with the pressures of a traditional job.\u00a0 I have experiemented with many different crafts, from knitting and crochet, to lino printing and digital art.\u00a0 I however never settled on one of these crafts for some reason or another, then I discovered wire wrapping.\u00a0 It is the perfect combination of simple and complicated, quirky and colourful, and hands on and fun.<\/p>

Jewellery making, in particular wire wrapping, captures my attention and helps me recover, in some way, from the stresses of being Neurodivergent in a world that wasnt designed for the Neurodivergent mind.<\/p>

This is a wonderful wee shop run by the Banchory Community Trust.\u00a0 The shop rents space to around 60 different artists, so you’ll always find something to buy here<\/p>
